What We Do
As an interior decorator, my job is to help clients create a beautiful and functional space that reflects their personal style and meets their specific needs. To do this, I typically perform the following tasks:

-
Consultation: Before any work can begin, I schedule a consultation with the client to discuss their vision for the space, as well as their budget, timeline, and any other concerns they may have.
-
Space planning: Once I have a clear understanding of the client's needs and preferences, I create a detailed floor plan that optimizes the use of the available space and ensures that the layout is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
-
Selection of furnishings and finishes: With the layout in place, I work with the client to select furniture, lighting, accessories, and finishes that complement their design vision and create a cohesive look.
-
Installation and styling: After all of the furnishings and finishes have been selected and ordered, I oversee the installation process to ensure that everything is placed correctly and that the space looks as beautiful as possible. I also provide styling advice and guidance to help the client put the finishing touches on the space.
Before and after the interior design process, there are several variables that must be considered to ensure a successful project:

-
Budget: Before beginning any design work, it is important to establish a realistic budget that takes into account all of the necessary expenses, including furniture, finishes, installation, and any additional services such as painting or electrical work.
-
Timeline: Interior design projects can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to complete, so it is important to establish a realistic timeline that takes into account any potential delays or unexpected issues.
-
Space constraints: Depending on the size and layout of the space, there may be certain design constraints that need to be taken into account, such as limited natural light or awkward room dimensions.
-
Client preferences: It is essential to consider the client's personal style and preferences throughout the design process, as this will ensure that the final result is a space that they love and feel comfortable in.
By carefully considering these variables and completing the necessary tasks, an interior decorator can create a space that is both beautiful and functional, and that exceeds the client's expectations.
